Institute of Planning and Development of the Capital City of Prague The Prague City Planning Department (IPR) has completed a new study on the state and development of the number of municipal flats in Prague. Currently, the capital city and the city districts own a total of 29 841 flats. Although this is almost 2% less than in 2021, the rate of decline has slowed significantly compared to the past. Prague's goal is to actively increase the number of public housing units.
