the Prague City Council discussed the purchase of 15 plots of land from Czech Railways on which the cycle path coming out of the Old Vítkovský Tunnel is located and which were also affected by the construction of the New Railway Link. The total purchase price of all the land is just under CZK 20 million. The transaction will still have to be approved by the City Council. Prague.

"By buying the land, Prague will consolidate its ownership in the locality, which will simplify the maintenance of the roads. There is a widely used path for pedestrians and cyclists in the area," summarises the Prague City Councillor. Adam Zábranský, Prague City Councillor for Property, Transparency and Legislation.
The land to be purchased in the cadastral area of Žižkov contains greenery, part of public pedestrian roads and cycle paths. The land was also affected by the construction of the New Link, a railway structure connecting the main railway station, Masaryk railway station and the railway stations Libeň, Vysočany and Holešovice.

By buying 15 plots of land for CZK 19,800,870, the capital will get a total of 20,500 square metres of land, i.e. one square metre for about CZK 964. The price was determined on the basis of an expert opinion.
