A training area for youth will be built in Šeberov

The Prague City Council approved the entrustment of a plot of land with an area of almost 150 thousand square metres to the Prague - Šeberov district. It will lease it to the Slavia Praha sports club, which will build a sports complex for students of the football academy, as well as for the public and for pupils of the primary school currently under construction in the neighbourhood of the site.
"Part of the agreement is a long-term agreement that half of the morning hours will be used by the school, and that 50 percent of the rental income will go to the city budget," says Adam Zábranský, Prague councillor for property, transparency and legislation.
Slavia's training facilities are currently located all over Prague. The construction of a youth football academy will ensure the development of young footballers under one roof. The project envisages the construction of eight floodlit football pitches, five with natural grass and three with artificial grass.

The complex will include a small area for goalkeeper training and an outdoor workout zone. In the central part of the complex, a main building will be built with changing rooms, warehouses, equipment facilities, a treatment room, offices and meeting rooms. The investment, estimated at CZK 305 million, will be fully funded from private sources.
