Municipal company TRADE CENTRE PRAHA a.s. (TCP) is looking for an operator of the Čapadlo Hollar premises on the Smetana Embankment.  Those interested in the attractive premises have until 20 November 2023 to submit their bids. TCP will enter into a lease agreement with the tender winner for the Čapadlo tunnel, the neighboring part of the embankment, and for the unpaved grassy land in the vicinity. The aim of the selection procedure is to ensure that an appealing attraction is operated in this important public place on the bank of the Vltava River and to foster its further development.

The winning operator will be granted a lease agreement from January 2024. They will be able to choose between a two-year contract with an option for another three-year period, and an indefinite contract with a six-month notice period.

The rental area comprises three parts including a tunnel, a paved stretch of the embankment and an unpaved grassy land on the embankment, with a total area of 1,393 m². The jury will judge the bids by the business intent as well as by the offered amount of rent, which should not be lower than CZK 30,000 per month, and the operator’s previous experience with a similar type of business.
