At its today’s session, the Prague City Council approved a cooperation agreement with Prague Water Management Company (PVS) in connection with the planned second stage of redevelopment and expansion of the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant on Císařský Island, which concerns the existing water line. The line needs to be rebuilt because, despite a series of partial repairs and renovations, it is unable to ensure the treatment of the incoming wastewater in compliance with applicable European and national legislation. The construction is expected to start next year.
