Prague city councilors have selected a contractor to draw up project documentation and handle other tasks associated with preparations for the construction of new Hloubětín Tunnel. This project will improve traffic flow and safety in and around Hloubětín district and will also help reduce emissions throughout the area. The winning bidder in the public tender was the consortium “Satra–Pragoprojekt–Valbek – Hloubětín Tunnel” with a bidding price of CZK 286,400,000 excluding VAT. The tunnel is expected to be completed by 2029.

Prague has selected the winner of a public tender for the preparation of project documentation and related works (such as land surveys, exploration and studies) for the planned construction of new Hloubětín Tunnel. The contract also includes supervision of the entire construction of the tunnel until its completion expected around 2029.

The construction of the approximately 670-metre-long Hloubětín Tunnel will also speed through traffic in the area significantly. The total length of this stretch of the so-called Industrial Ring Road is 1.95 kilometers.
