Prague city councilors approved a proposal to repair and refurbish six family houses in Zbraslav to be used as temporary emergency shelters for Ukrainian war refugees. Going forward, the city is planning to rent the houses to Prague citizens. Prague will allocate CZK 22 million for the project but at the same time it will apply for a subsidy under the Ministry of Regional Development program “Ukraine - expansion of accommodation capacities”.

Prague is planning to repair and refurbish six family homes in Zbraslav in the near future. For the time being, the houses should serve as emergency accommodation for refugees from Ukraine. The city-owned houses have long been uninhabited.

The total cost of the project is estimated at 22 million crowns, with the city intending to apply for financing from the “Ukraine - expansion accommodation capacities” program operated by the Ministry of Regional Development. This could cover part of the cost, up to CZK 10.8 million.
