At its meeting on Monday, the Prague City Council approved two strategic land swaps worth approximately CZK 2.2 billion. The first swap concerns most of the Bulovka University Hospital campus, for which the city would receive the Karlín Barracks, a campus at Bohdalec, a plot of land in Záběhlice and other assets from the state. In the other transaction, the city would swap Na Homolce Hospital grounds and the Faust House with the state for the Veleslavín Castle and a plot of land in Rieger Park. The Prague City Assembly will decide on the transactions in the coming months.
