Refurbishment of a house in Na Dlážděnce Street in Prague 8 has started. The building is to be converted into a home for people with special care needs and sheltered housing. The project is another step in Prague’s effort to create quality and accessible social services in the city and to end the practice of transferring Prague residents with health disadvantages to facilities far from their families. The project will cost just under CZK 27 million including VAT and should take approximately half a year to complete.
