Subsidy for refurbishment of a senior asylum and construction of a new apartment block

The Prague City Council has recommended another batch of subsidies from the Accessible Housing Development Fund. Nearly a quarter billion will go towards refurbishment and extension of a senior asylum in Prague 14 and construction of a new apartment block with 20 apartments in Prague-Slivenec.

“The fund will provide 181 million crowns to refurbish and expand the senior asylum in Bojčenkova Street. The facility will eventually accommodate 59 clients. In Prague-Slivenec district, the fund will finance a new residential house with some 20 apartments, releasing 65 million crowns for the construction,” says Adam Zábranský, city councilor responsible for the housing and transparency agenda.

The fund will provide the money to Prague 14 district under the condition that it maintain the accommodation with social services for 20 years.
