Prague City Council agreed to transfer the building of the former Vocational School of Food Technology in Písnice to the hands of the local authority in Prague – Libuš district. This will enable the local authority to increase the capacity of the local primary schools. The transfer is yet to be approved by the Prague City Assembly.

Prague - Libuš is a dynamically growing district at the edge of Prague where the planned underground line D will have three stations. Future development around two of the stations, Libuš and Písnice, is subject to two zoning studies that are being drawn up. The number of local inhabitants is expected to grow from today’s 10,000 to as many as 15,000.
