As of 21 April 2020, it will be easier for businesses to serve customers in the street outside their shops. Shop owners will be able to set up a stand or a table on the pavement for free until the end of the year. They will only need to notify the authorities by e-mail but will not have to wait for a response. No fees will be charged for outside seating, either. Existing contracts will be amended accordingly, new ones are open for application.
