The capital continues the process of complete replacement of bus stop shelters and gradual reduction of freestanding non-shelter advertising elements located in the metropolis. Of the original number of approximately 650 of these devices, which primarily consisted of advertising displays or poles on the city's streets, approximately 490 have been removed to date. The remaining 160 or so devices, together with about 420 dismantled bus shelters, are part of the buyout of the functional part of the JCDecaux plant by the city's company Capital Technologies.
