Prague to get more urban furniture from JCDecaux

The Prague City Council has approved the purchase of the functional part of the JCDecaux (JCD) plant, which includes more than 420 dismantled bus shelters and 160 advertising devices from the property of the original operator of the city's municipal furniture. The implementation of the buyout of the JCD plant's part, worth CZK 133 million, will be carried out by the city's joint-stock company Technology of the Capital City of Prague (THMP), which is negotiating the terms of the transaction with JCD on behalf of the City Council from 2022. The agreement is expected to be concluded next week, with the actual transfer of the plant part expected to take place in the third quarter of this year. An integral part of the buyout is the acquisition of a functioning advertising network of 160 freestanding advertising devices located on city property.
