Prague city councillors have approved the intention of a public tender for the selection of a contractor to complete the reconstruction of the Šlecht Restaurant in Prague's Stromovka. The intention still needs to be approved by the City Council. Prague. The landmark of Prague's Stromovka is currently not in working order and it is necessary to complete the work on this monument.
The completion of the reconstruction of Šlecht's Restaurant also includes the construction of a colonnade, a gazebo, the rehabilitation of the slope above Šlecht's Restaurant and the construction of separate toilets including connections. The estimated value of the contract for the selection of the contractor for the completion of the second part of the reconstruction of Šlecht's Restaurant is CZK 144.9 million excluding VAT, of which the reconstruction of the building itself will cost CZK 133 million, the construction of new toilets CZK 8.7 million and the rehabilitation of the slope CZK 3.2 million excluding VAT.
Currently, the restaurant is in a state of unfinished reconstruction. It cannot be fully used for its purpose because the restaurant part is completely missing. The 18 rooms of the historic building have only been completed to the rough construction stage, the annex building is in the rough construction stage in its entirety.
