Prague to lease hundreds of garage spaces
The City of Prague has announced its intention to lease more than 330 free garage spaces. So far, the empty garages will bring the city about three million crowns.

The city will lease garages and garage spaces in the Prague 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, Kunratice, Ďáblice, Čakovice and Miškovice districts for a rent of CZK 800 per sqm/year, and CZK 335 per month for ZTP or ZTP/P holders. Interested parties may submit written offers to the Prague City Hall, electronically to posta@praha.euanebo via the data box 48ia97h until 31 August 2024 at the latest.

"Even in the outskirts of the city and on housing estates, there are many citizens who have a hard time finding a place to park. Renting out garages owned by the city that have been lying fallow for years is therefore a logical step," says Adam Zábranský, councillor for property, transparency and legislation.
"The city will receive about CZK 3 million for renting garages and parking spaces that have not been rented yet. The information about the demand will serve us for further pricing of garage leases in similar locations," says Zábranský.
