The city's leadership continues to systematically address homelessness. On Monday, Prague city councillors approved renting five apartments to people who have not yet had permanent housing. These are mostly young adults leaving institutional care.

Contracts with new tenants are concluded for a period of two years with the possibility of extension. The amount of rent is around CZK 150 per square meter, depending on the location, quality and size of the apartment. The amount is stated without household equipment. The applicant was proposed by the organization Letní dům, z.ú.
Decision of the Council of the capital city. The decision of the Prague City Council is in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation on Systematic Solutions to Homelessness of Young People in the Capital City of Prague, which has been in force since last September.
