The Prague City Council has approved a public tender for the construction of Palata II building, an extension to the existing Palata Home for the Visually Impaired in Smíchov district. At the same time, Prague councilors approved the appointment of a public tender committee and an adjustment of the total costs of the investment project. The project will expand residential social care capacities, primarily for people suffering from senile dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

The estimated value of the public contract is CZK 426,000,000 excluding VAT, as determined from the tender documentation and an updated control budget from May this year. The project will be financed from Prague’s budget for the years 2024 to 2026.
