The winning design in an international architectural competition for the completion of the 4th quadrant of Vítězné Náměstí circus was submitted jointly by Dutch Benthem Crouwel Architects and Czech studio OVA. The project for the completion of one of Prague’s most important junctions builds on the original values of Antonín Engel’s urban design concept for Dejvice district. The investor has already signed a contract with the winner for the preparation of the project.

The City of Prague, the Prague 6 district administration, the University of Applied Sciences, and Fourth Quadrant, a company formed by the investors Penta Real Estate, Sekyra Group and Kaprain, presented the results of the International Architectural Competition 4th Quadrant of Vítězné náměstí, Prague - Czech Republic on Tuesday.

The winning team’s proposal combines housing, offices, and public amenities. The core of the design is a new square neighboring on a new building of the University of Applied Sciences and a cultural center of Prague 6. A quiet part in the east will comprise a residential block with a semi-private courtyard.
