One of the largest brownfields in Prague, the former freight station in Žižkov, is being developed into a modern district that will offer comprehensive services in addition to housing. The developers who are building in the area according to the city’s plans will pay a compensation to the city in the total amount of CZK 1.5 billion in the future. In the first phase, the city will receive more than CZK 167 million from FINEP. The investor will provide funds for the construction of a primary school. At the same time, it will build a kindergarten and a green promenade for the city and will provide land for the construction of affordable housing with social services. A cooperation agreement was approved by the Prague City Assembly yesterday.
