The Ministry of the Environment provided funds to the City of Prague to finance modernization of heating devices. Prague will receive over CZK 7.63 million for the Boiler Subsidy Program IV.
The capital city received CZK 7,638,289 for the modernization of heating devices. This amount was provided in the form of investment and non-investment transfers from the state budget through the Ministry of the Environment as part of the Operational Program Environment 2021-2027, specifically the Boiler Subsidies IV.
“I am very happy that we have received funding from the Ministry of Environment thanks to which Prague residents can reduce emissions from non-mobile sources. Modern heating methods will reduce the amount of smog in Prague to improve the environmental situation in the city,” added Zdeněk Kovářík, Prague City Councilor who is responsible for municipal finance.
