The ceremonial tapping of the foundation stone marked the launch of the construction of a new H2 sewerage collector and H2 line, which will allow sewage water to flow from the districts of Dolní Počernice and Běchovice to Prague’s Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. This will increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the discharge of wastewater into the municipal sewerage network and improve the quality of wastewater disposal throughout the area. The total cost of the project is approximately CZK 140 million and 1,355 meters of sewerage collector pipes will be built. The contractor is the company Čermák a Hrachovec a.s.

The capital city will build a new sewage collection system in Běchovice and Dolní Počernice districts. The total cost is CZK 139,558,900 excluding VAT, and a total of 1,355 meters of sewers will be built. Of this, 640 meters will be built with the open trench method, with the remaining 715 meters built using the microtunnelling technology. The entire construction, including a new cycling path and other works, should take 24 months.
