At its session on Monday, the Prague City Council approved the launch of preparations of two investment projects. These include a primary school and public amenities in Dolní Počernice and a municipal apartment building in Jinonice in Prague 5. The projects will carried out by the Prague Development Company (PDS).

The Prague City Council approved the start of preparations of two projects to be carried out by the Prague Development Company (PDS). One of the projects envisages the construction of a primary school and related public amenities in a development area in Dolní Počernice, where PDS is planning to build some 800 municipal rental apartments, among other things. This is the fourth project approved for the site over the past two years. The company will also deliver a municipal housing project with about 60 to 80 units at U Tyršovy školy in Prague 5 - Jinonice.

The plot of land in Dolní Počernice with a total area of 18.5 hectares is one of the largest development areas on Prague’s territory that can be used for housing construction. PDS divided the territory into four projects. Project 1 is for the construction of approximately 250 apartments, Project 2 approximately 550 apartments, Project 3 concerns infrastructure (power, water and gas grids, sewerage, waste collection, transport, etc.) and Project 4 that has been approved today concerns a school whose construction is a prerequisite for the second stage of housing construction.
