The capital city continues helping citizens invest in energy savings through its Social Endowment Fund. The fund offers an amount of three thousand crowns per household to be used on energy efficiency measures. The aim is to make it easier for the lowest-income households (approximately 10% of Prague households) to overcome the current energy crisis. They can spend the money on improvements in their homes to reduce energy consumption going forward.

The energy efficiency support is financed from Prague’s municipal budget and is part of a comprehensive energy package to help the citizens of Prague. The city allocated a total of 86,850,000 crowns for this purpose this year.
