Municipal Rental Agency gets the green light to carry on with its activities and to expand its services to homeowners and people in housing need
The Prague City Council has approved the continuation of the Municipal Rental Agency for another three years. The interest in its services during the first 14 months of trial operation exceeded expectations and the agency is becoming a systemic element in providing housing for low-income households in Prague. It plans to be managing 500 apartments by 2030.
For more than a year, the Municipal Rental Agency has been acting as a link between Prague apartment owners and tenants by offering a set of important guarantees and services, most importantly a guarantee of regular payments. The agency provides housing support and social services to tenants. It is operated by the Prague Social Services Centre.
