The Prague City Council today approved the lease of municipal flats to city-financed orphanages in Dolní Počernice and Klánovice. Two apartments were rented to the Počernice orphanage and three to the Klánovice orphanage. The rented apartments will help young adults leaving the orphanages to make the first step towards complete independence.
Prague has previously rented 12 municipal flats to the Počernice orphanage (4 of them in the current election term), some of which are used for so-called family groups or as starter or training flats; and 5 flats (4 of which are starter flats and one serves as a remote office) to the Klánovice orphanage.
