The Prague City Council adopted a proposal for a property settlement between the city and six land owners in the area of Libuš and Kunratice. The deal is the result of a joint effort of multiple teams at the Prague City Council. Availability of the land in question is absolutely necessary for the construction of a tram line between Modřany and Libuš and a planned Line D underground station. The current agreement will also ensure that the capital city should be able to complete the construction of the underground line on time and therefore will not forfeit a European subsidy of CZK 305.4 million that it has already been granted.
