Prague's Real Estate Portal has significantly expanded its offer and launched a Facebook page

3/6/2019

Since its launch in May 2018, Prague Real Estate Portal has been visited by more than 200 thousand users. Over the year, it has expanded the offer of real estates to include additional city districts and has launched a social media channel for communication with users.

The Real Estate Portal has been joined by a total of 11 city districts, which has significantly increased the offer of municipal property for sale. One of the first to join was Prague 7, followed by Prague districts 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 18, 22, Slivenec, and Suchdol and municipal property management companies. “The idea behind our effort to expand the offer is to enable all citizen to view the complete list of Prague's municipal property for sale or lease in one place, without having to visit the respective bulletin boards and websites of each city district and the City Hall. In this respect, we have made a major step towards a more transparent and effective management of municipal property,”says Prague Councilor Jan Chabr.

Another initiative to improve the accessibility of the portal contents is a dedicated Prague Real Estate Portal Facebook page. “Our aim is to present the offer to the younger generation and others who frequent social networks. It has proved to be a step in the right direction because over the first two months since the launch of the Facebook page, the web portal has recorded a five-fold increase in the number of visits from this channel. We are committed to seeking further new ways to address as wide an audience as possible,” says Prague Councilor Jan Chabr. The Facebook page carries individual offers as well as news and interesting facts about municipal property management.
