Prague supports city districts in building sustainable transport infrastructure.

Prague City Council approved the provision of special-purpose subsidies in the total amount of approximately 118 million crowns for city districts that have prepared projects for the construction of transport infrastructure in accordance with the Sustainable Mobility Plan and the Prague Climate Plan. A total of ten city districts will be receive such subsidy. Supported projects include, e.g., a new footbridge in Prague 11 and an extension of a cycle path in Prague 14.

The city has long supported proactive city districts that are preparing sustainable mobility infrastructure projects on their territory. Out of a set of approved projects, 11 are ready for construction and two city districts have received subsidies for the preparation of project documentation with expected implementation in the coming years.
