The average rent in the capital city decreased by 2.8% over the past six months, currently standing at approximately 279 CZK/sq. m.  This according to a Deloitte analysis commissioned by Prague City Hall.

The city has had the analysis produced bi-annually since 2019 and has a unique time series starting from 2014. It can compare rent growth trends before and after the pandemic. The analysis drills down into cadastral zones (with the number of homes for rent in the given period as a basis for clean data to be analyzed) and compares trends between traditional urban areas and new sprawl on the outskirts.
