At its session today, Prague City Council selected a contractor to build a P+R parking facility in Nové Butovice. The most favorable bid in the public tender was submitted by “Společnost Parkovací dům Petržílkova” (a consortium of Metrostav DIZ s.r.o. + Trigema Building a.s) with an asking price of 292,747,189 CZK without VAT. The construction is to commence in November and should be completed in a year and a half.

A half of the multi-storey parking facility will be reserved for local inhabitants, the other half will serve as a P+R parking with 379 parking places. New parking capacity within reach of public transport will make it easier for visitors and commuters to travel to their destinations across the capital city.
