Prague City Council has agreed to allocate nearly 12 million crowns to support Smart Prague projects carried out by individual city districts. These range from a virtual power station to an interactive map of greenery. The Council decided to support ten projects in six districts, subject to approval by the Prague City Assembly.

The capital city has allocated a total of 40 million crowns from its budget to support local Smart Prague projects in 2020. Prague aims to support mainly unique innovative projects that have never been implemented in the city. Such projects will receive a subsidy amounting to 70% of the total cost. Specific projects that have already been implemented or are in progress in Prague may receive a subsidy amounting to 50% of the total cost.
