The capital city has made significant progress in the preparation of the headquarters for the European Union Space Programme Agency (EUSPA). Prague city councillors have selected GEOSAN GROUP as the contractor for the redevelopment of the former Nová Palmovka Centre. The CZK 2.4 billion project, excluding VAT, will transform the unfinished building into a modern headquarters for a major European institution.
GEOSAN GROUP won the open tender, in which a total of three companies applied. The selected contractor will be responsible not only for the construction itself, but also for the project documentation and obtaining the necessary permits using the Design & Build method.
EUSPA's location in Prague represents a significant opportunity for the entire Czech Republic. The agency, which is a key player in science and technology development, can bring economic growth of several billion crowns a year to the metropolis and the country. Prague 8 will become one of the world's centres of technological progress.
