Two new apartment buildings with a total of 28 flats will be built on Černý Most. Prague City Councillors approved the selection of the contractor for the public contract Construction No. 45708 Černý Most II - buildings O and P. The estimated value of the public contract is CZK 99.804 million excluding VAT, the work will be carried out by Trigema Building a.s. The construction will take 18 months.
"Every apartment counts and in 2026, twenty-eight more will be built on Černý Most. Nearly a hundred Prague residents will find new housing here. Specially designed flats for wheelchair users are also planned. The four-storey houses will also have underground garages and green planted roofs. In short, it will be really dignified and, most importantly, affordable housing," says Deputy Mayor Alexandra Udženija, who is in charge of social affairs, housing and health.
"These are the first two buildings of the municipal housing development in Černý Most for about 84 tenants. The project has moved forward significantly in terms of quality and I hope that the construction will be able to start as soon as possible. I am glad that the city is starting with urban housing construction," says Petr Hlaváček, Deputy Mayor with responsibility for spatial and strategic development.
The proposed apartment buildings, called O and P, are identical in size, with four floors above ground and one floor with underground garages. A total of 28 flats are envisaged, of which 2 are special purpose flats for the disabled. Specifically, there are 14 2+kk flats ranging in size from 45.20 m2 to 60.22 m2 and 14 3+kk flats ranging in size from 69.68 m2 to 71.03 m2.
The construction includes the implementation of access roads including parking spaces for visitors and the necessary technical infrastructure. In the basement there will be garages accessible by entrances directly from the ground. Flat roofs are designed as green, planted with vegetation.
