Council of the Capital City of Prague. During the next 30 days, individual city districts can comment on its wording. The regulations should come into force simultaneously with the amendment to the Building Act,
Experts from Prague, Brno and Ostrava, i.e. from cities that will be allowed to deviate from the uniform decree of the Ministry of Regional Development, worked together on the draft Municipal Building Regulations.
The representatives of the individual city districts will now have the opportunity to comment on the draft for a period of 30 days to ensure that the specific needs of each city district are incorporated into the regulations. The final form of the regulations should be approved to take effect with the enactment of the amended Building Code.
"Our goal is for the new Municipal Building Regulations for Prague to come into force at the same time as the forthcoming amendment, so as to avoid the transitional effect of a national ordinance that does not take into account the needs of the capital city," concludes Deputy Mayor Petr Hlaváček.
