The Council of the Capital City of Prague Prague has approved the provision of special-purpose investment grants from the investment reserve, which are intended to support urban districts. The move will distribute CZK 500 million in funds aimed at supporting a wide range of important projects that will benefit individual districts.
The projects have been carefully selected and evaluated with an emphasis on their current readiness as well as their necessity and potential benefit for the residents, both in terms of demographic development and their contribution to the overall development of the districts and Prague as a whole.

The most significant part of the subsidies, namely CZK 330.5 million, was allocated to support the education, youth and sports sector. Of this amount, CZK 277.5 million will be invested in capacity expansion and reconstruction of kindergartens and primary schools, while CZK 53 million will be allocated for the development of sports facilities, both for school facilities and for extracurricular sports activities.
