The Prague City Council has noted a report on the progress of an investment project to extend and refurbish the Dobřichovice Home for the Elderly and on the financial situation of this project. The capital city expects to spend approximately CZK 216 million on a new pavilion and renovation of the existing pavilion with a total of 37 double rooms and other facilities, with another CZK 60 million to be covered by a subsidy from the Czech Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Prague will arrange for the refurbishment and extension of the Dobřichovice Home for the Elderly for approximately CZK 276 million by the end of 2024. This project will be co-financed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic under the program Development and Renewal of Social Services Infrastructure 2016-2024. Prague will receive financial support in the amount of CZK 60 million from the program. The City Council discussed the terms of this support at its session.
Construction works commenced in July this year, with earthworks and demolition currently underway.
