GONG Theatre awaits a major renovation thanks to the support from capital Prague. The 4.9 million CZK investment project will replace the aging technical equipment of this cultural center in Prague 9, which is known for its wide range of events across genres.

One of the main problems with the existing technical equipment is an inadequate curtain pull-down system in the main hall and a malfunctioning air conditioning unit on the roof of the theater. These technologies date back to the 1980s and severely limit the theater’s dramaturgy options.
