As of today, citizens have an opportunity to shape new Bubny-Zátory quarter

8/15/2019

In June, Prague representatives presented a draft zoning study for a 110-hectare brownfield in the Bubny-Zátory area. The study shows what the new quarter could look like. The study has been revealed today and is up for public discussion. Citizens will have two months to submit their comments and suggestions in hardcopy or electronically to the Prague City Hall. At the same time, Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR) is launching an information campaign. It has dispatched information containers where people can learn about the plans for Bubny and how to submit their comments. The Institute successfully used the container last year when presenting the Metropolitan Plan.

Citizens have from August 15 to October 15 to peruse the study and submit their feedback. The draft is available on the City Hall's website at http://bit.ly/uzemnistudiebubny

The authors of the study will officially present the draft on 4 October 2019 at a public session at the Center for Architecture and Urban Planning (CAMP). IPR has placed mobile information containers to 4 locations from August 26 to September 19 to provide details about the study and how to proceed if citizens wish to submit their comments. The Institute is also planning to offer guided tours in the area.
