Prague will provide financial support to the Prague 14 district to refurbish and expand a retirement home in Bojčenkova Street. The city will allocate almost 50 million crowns for the project.
On Monday, Prague councilors agreed to provide a subsidy amounting to 49,478,500 crowns to the Prague 14 district. The plan is yet to be approved by the Prague City Assembly.
The project will include a refurbishment and extension of the building dating from the 1970s. Originally a nursery, it was converted into a geriatric center in the 1990s. Currently, it serves as a home for the elderly.
