Prague will become the owner of a valuable piece of land near the meanders of Botič in Hostivař district, and is planning a major revitalization of the entire location
So called “Trojmezí”, a former agricultural area on the border of the municipal districts of Prague 4, 10, 11, and 15, is an important natural and leisure location, whose potential, however, has not been fully utilized. This could change as the city intends to buy the land from a private owner and create a comprehensive solution for the entire area.
At its session on Monday, the Prague City Council recommended a purchase of a plot of former arable land with an area of 23,590 m² in this location. An expert opinion put the price of the property at 7,784,700 CZK, i.e. 330 CZK/m².
The project envisages a transformation of the neglected and hardly accessible area into a a pleasant landscape safe to explore and enjoy. The main goal is to make sensitive changes to the valuable landscape with an emphasis on its natural value and harmony with its neighborhood.
