The Prague 20 district has built an apartment building with seven apartments for citizens in need of housing in Náchodská Street. The new building was erected on the site of the former Kupr House. The starter apartments will serve young families, senior citizens, and socially disadvantaged people. The City of Prague co-financed the project from its Affordable Housing Development Fund, whose purpose is to support the construction of hundreds of new apartments in Prague in the coming years.

These are so-called starter apartments with a floor space of up to 30 m2, which should serve temporarily for a maximum of three years before the tenants find their own housing. Considering the small size of the apartment, the utility bills should not exceed five thousand crowns.

The construction works cost 24,007,799 CZK including VAT, without the purchasing price of the land. The Municipal District of Prague 20 expended 11,653,799 crowns from its funds and the City of Prague contributed nearly 14.4 million crowns from its Affordable Housing Development Fund.
