Ten years after a devastating fire, Prague has now been granted a building permit to rebuild the left wing of the Industrial Palace and a complete refurbishment of the right wing and the central hall. The city is planning to call a tender for a contractor and would like to start construction next year. In the meantime, key renovation initiatives in of the lower part of the Exhibition Grounds should be completed so that the venue has something to offer to visitors throughout the restoration of the palace.
