The competing multidisciplinary teams include both world-renowned architectural studios and their award-winning Czech counterparts.
The jury met behind closed doors Closed to shortlist five competing teams for the 2nd stage of the competition in which they should develop their concepts into elaborate designs. The finalists include:
- A69 – architects (CZ)

The international competition takes the form of a so-called competitive workshop, which is non-anonymous. This allows the jury comprising architects and representatives of the contracting authorities, the City of Prague, the City District of Prague 6, the University of Chemistry and Technology and IPR Prague to lead a direct dialogue with the teams. In the second round, the five teams are expected to present detailed designs for the completion of Vítězné Square. The third, final competition workshop will take place in mid-June 2023, after which the jury will choose the winner.
