The Nové Dvory area spanning nearly 50 hectares is a key location for further development of the city. A new zoning study has been drawn up and approved to create a new city district complete with facilities for recreation and sports near the planned Nové Dvory underground line D station. Most of the area is located on the territory of Prague 4 and Prague 12 districts.
The transformation site Nové Dvory is one of the largest areas owned by the capital city. Prague is planning to build an urban district around the new underground station, complete with affordable rental housing, full-scale public infrastructure including an elementary school, kindergartens, a cultural center, facilities for the elderly, a medical facility, room for shops and services, public transport lines, and facilities for sports and recreation.
The zoning study can be downloaded from the website of Prague City Hall’s Department of Urban Development.
